This unmissable four-disc bundle presents Japan’s legendary concert at the Nippon Budokan, in Tokyo, on 8 December 1982, in its entirety. The show occurred during the Sons of Pioneers Tour.

Here, the art-pop pioneers blaze through fan favourites such as Quiet Life, Ghosts, Nightporter, Visions of China, Gentlemen Take Polaroids, Life in Tokyo and many more.

For two encores, the band were joined on stage by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi of the Yellow Magic Orchestra, along with singer Akiko Yano. Highlights from this section of the show include the only live rendition of David Sylvian’s first single with Sakamoto, Bamboo Music, as well as his set-closing duet with Yano, Good Night.

This performance took place just days before the band’s official and highly-publicised split. Japan’s final concert was on 16 December 1982, in Nagoya.
