The Jam – From A Town Called Malice: Live 1982 (Limited Edition Splatter Vinyl)
A stunning live collection capturing The Jam in 1982, during the final year of one of Britain’s most influential bands.
Featuring an outstanding selection of classics, From A Town Called Malice: Live 1982 brings together some of the band’s most celebrated songs, including Town Called Malice, That’s Entertainment, Going Underground-era favourite Pretty Green, Ghosts, Funeral Pyre, When You’re Young and The Gift.
The set also features The Jam’s electrifying take on Curtis Mayfield’s Move On Up, alongside fan favourites including Boy About Town, Precious, Tales From the Riverbank and Trans-Global Express.
Presented on striking green and clear splatter vinyl, the distinctive pressing perfectly complements the gritty artwork and makes this a fantastic collector’s edition for Jam and Paul Weller fans.
Due to the manufacturing process, the splatter pattern will vary between individual records, meaning each copy has its own unique appearance.
The specially commissioned cover represents the concept of a modern dysfunctional town to evoke the thought that nothing has changed since the 1980s. The brief to the artist was to develop a challenging image that symbolises the view that, musically and conceptually , Jam are still the most relevant soundtrack to encapsulate all modern towns called 'Malice'.
Please note that the images used are for mock-up purposes and are only suggestive of the finished product.
